The scaffolding is taken down to reveal the front of the building.

Got the pillers up in the Garage...


And the roof removed at the front with some construction started.


Day 4:
Got the wall up to roof hight.

I've got the builders in, they are putting an extra bedroom over the garage...work commences...day 1 - Holes for foundations in garage.

It was bad snow last weekend and I took this picture of the TT covered in it. It looks like Christmas!

Tourist Trophy

I got the Audi TT yesterday. Everything has gone fairly well so far. I took it for a run and had it real dirty in about 20 minutes, I did well there!
The boot did look quite big when it was empty but I've managed to fill it already with my junk like boiler suits, hard hat, medical kit, blanket, toolbox and stuff. There are a few compartments inside that I can put stuff in so I should be fine.
I set the phone holder and sat nav holders up this morning before work so tonight I will try and get the sat nav sensor installed later on tonight. I need to crank the drivers seat up higher but I can't do it, the old golf had a ratchet handle on it and it was great, I'm not sure how this one works, there's an up/down lever on it but it doesn't seem to work with me in it.

I've just put a deposit down on an Audi TT. It's black, 44K miles, air con, and the usual stuff. I'll be sad when I get rid of the GTI but I've had it 6 years and there's a few things that needs attention.
It needs servicing that's what made me get another car.
It broke down a few weeks ago on Hardwicke Circus roundabout here in Carlisle. This is the busiest roundabout in Carlisle. I was at the traffic lights, set off in 1st gear, and when I went for 2nd the clutch fell to the floor. Luckily I cruised to a pavement and awaited the breakdown service to be towed to the garage. Some bracket had failed on the clutch pedal.

I didn't mention this before when it happened. I was at the top of our road and there's an a** that parks on the corner, well basically, I took someones rear bumper out. It was his fault anyway for not giving way.

Through The Wardrobe...

I was at Teesside ages ago for a week and I went to McDonalds a couple of times. They were doing Narnia toys. I managed to Pickup Aslan, Edmund, Lucy, Mr Tumnus, Mr Beaver, Susan. The only ones I didn't get was the Witch and Peter. Matthew loves playing with these, they are one of his favourite toys. We set the scenes up and play hide and seek with the characters.
